Hobel
offers different types of EGR Tube Assemblies which
can be broadly separated into four categories.
"SINGLE PIECE" INTEGRATED
DESIGN
In this design, there are no separate end parts welded to the main Flexible Tubing. This is a "Single Piece" construction where swivel flanges are provided at both ends of the tube. Different tube end profiles can also be provided such as beading, cup formation etc.
WELDED DESIGN
In these assemblies, the end parts, such as cup/diffusers
etc. are formed separately and then welded with the
Flex Tube assembly using Micro Tig/Micro Plasma as
the welding source.
The welding process is automated.
INDUCTION BRAZED DESIGN
In this process, the end parts are silver brazed with the Flex Tube maintaining uniform flow of material all around the periphery. This process is carried out on automated Induction Brazing machines with preset timers and temperature regulators.
VACUUM BRAZED DESIGN
These Assemblies are manufactured by brazing separately formed end parts with the main Flex Tube in a Vacuum Brazing furnace. The final product is therefore, also stress relieved and annealed.
